TDRC IN THE NEWS: OPPOSITION OF MD DISTRICTS JOINED BY JUDICIAL WATCH

On December 22, two members of the Tri-District Republican Club of North Carroll, Adam Jones and Donald Frazier, traveled to the Old Frederick City Hall to join Md. State Delg. Neil Parrott in announcing that Judicial Watch has joined with eight Maryland plaintiffs in Maryland Court of Appeals filings for relief from the partisan Legislative Special Session Congressional District Map, now the law for the 2022 Election.

The news conference announced that Judicial Watch attorneys Bob Popper and Eric Lee, from their offices in Southeast Washington, D.C., had just filed on behalf of the plaintiffs, a lawsuit asking that the court overturn the map produced in the recently concluded special legislative session. A nonpartisan commission, appointed by Gov. Larry Hogan, had produced a very reasonable map that was soundly rejected by the Democratic leadership in Annapolis over strong Republican opposition…
